coil albumAlso in the film, but not on the soundtrack, is "Song to the Siren" by This Mortal Coil. It's the song played while Pete and Alice have sex outside the cabin. It was not included on the soundtrack at the request of the producer of the song. He didn't want it to be over exploited. Originally Lynch wanted to use the song in Blue Velvet where "Mysteries of Love" was, but couldn't get the rights. It can be found on the album "It'll End In Tears", catalog numbers: LP: CAD411, Cassette: CADC411, CD: CAD411CD. You can order "It'll End In Tears" from Amazon.com here.
